Oregon Resources

These organizations have resources to assist farmers and gardeners who live in Oregon. Except for North Willamette Research and Extension Center, Oregon Food Bank, and Oregon Tilth, most restrict their activities to the city or county listed. Check their websites for classes and programs.

Oregon State University Extension Master Gardener

In 30 counties across Oregon, Master Gardener volunteers answer gardening questions at Oregon State University Extension offices, at community Farmers’ markets, and at Master Gardener events.  Volunteers create and manage demonstration gardens, school gardens and community gardens.  They host garden tours, workshops and classes in their communities. Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCD)

​​The Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) Program provides services to the 45 Soil and Water Conservation Districts throughout Oregon. These services include technical support and limited administrative oversight, with the intent of reducing both liability and risk to the SWCDs and the Oregon Department of Agriculture.
